Includes: 3 nights at the Explorean Kohunlich (jungle) hotel and 2 nights at the Rancho Encantado hotel in Bacalar (lagoon) in a double room. All meals (except a lunch in Bacalar). Daily yoga and meditation class. Excursions: Day kayaking / night kayaking / exploring the Biosphere Reserve / Kohunlich Mayan site by bike. Transfer airport-hotel-airport, and tons of Prana 🙂

Join us on this dual journey: water and land, pyramids and jungle. In this yoga trip we will be in touch with nature 100%, leaving aside the rush. We invite you to travel without worrying about anything, we will take care of all the logistics and yoga so that you can fully enjoy each moment.
We will do yoga in the morning and also meditations in the afternoon depending on the place: it can be in the middle of an archaeological site surrounded by monkeys or in the crystalline silence of the lagoon of 7 colors.

THE INSTRUCTOR

FEDERICO OROZCO
Yoga and travel enthusiast. I’m a Kundalini Yoga instructor trained 10 years ago in Barcelona, Spain. As well as in Therapeutic Theater and Art Therapy. I love traveling, nature, yoga and everything related to well-being.
I created Omm Retreats, a space where my work as tour manager and yoga instructor converge, promoting yoga retreats in nature. In my yoga retreats I like to share my experience in all the areas related to yoga such as chi-kung, aromatherapy, music therapy and meditation.

YOGA

The program includes daily yoga / meditation sessions.

In the mornings, before breakfast, we will do yoga and meditation. Learning to move the body, creating sequences of postures consciously. In the afternoon, before dinner, we will practice yoga learning how to care for and heal the body and restore the balance in the nervous system, and we will end with a guided meditation.

ACTIVITIES

All this included activities:

• Bike at the Kohunlich archelogical site
• Kayak the lagoon (day / night)
• Jungle immersion at the Chichan Ha jungle, with an expert.
• Swimm in the lagoon.

Frequently asked questions:

Where is Bacalar?

The Bacalar lagoon is located 33 km. northwest of Chetumal, Mexico. It is a lagoon of amazing colors and surrounded by nature. The Mayan jungle is 55 kilometers west of Bacalar, it is called Kohunlich.
To get here, fly to Chetumal (CTM).
You have included private transportation to the hotel back and forth.

ARRIVAL: you have to arrive in Chetumal no later than 5: oo PM to give you time to arrive to the hotel. We will have a welcome meeting and then the welcome dinner at the Explorean Kohunlich hotel.
DEPARTURE: after breakfast. Please fly from 1:00 PM so that you have time to arrive on time to the airport.

If I go alone, Can I share room?
Of course! Many participants come on their own and share a room. The distribution is in rooms of the same sex. Sharing room is a good option to have an affordable rate and an excellent opportunity to meet wonderful people

How’s the weather?
Semi-tropical. June is a month of warm weather. Usually afternoon T-showers

What to bring?
Bring loose, fresh clothing of natural fibers. For the lake and pool, bring your swimsuit. We recommend you bring a sunscreen and a good insect repellent. In the hotel there are no yoga mats, please bring yours.

Payment
You can pay the full withdrawal, or make a deposit of $500 USD per person (and pay the rest no later than April 1). Once the payment is made, we will confirm the reservation with a receipt.
Payment methods: Credit card, Paypal or bank transfer.

Cancellation policy:
~ If you cancel 61 days - or more - before retirement 90% of your investment will be returned (except non-returnable $500 USD)
~ If you cancel 60 days or less before the retreat, unfortunately we will not be able to return your investment.
