I worked several years as a tour manager in Europe. I love traveling, getting to know people and, of course, yoga. I treasure it’s holistic perspective.
Practicing yoga in my daily life gives me spiritual strength, helping me to maintain important values like honesty, compassion and being present in my relationships with others.
Omm Retreats is a deeply personal project that integrates being a tour guide and a yogi. Believe it or not, they have a lot in common! To travel is to experience the world in all it’s aspects, and yoga is to pursue an inner experience acknowledged with every breath, movement and meditation. Both are a round trip.
I look forward to seeing you on our next trip. I feel grateful to share this experience with inspiring instructors in unique spaces, surrounded by nature and wonderful people.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tab][vc_tab title=”Athanasios Karta Singh” tab_id=”1428836443-2-86″][vc_column_text]I was born in Germany with Greek roots and I live and work in Munich in the area of design and architecture and as a Kundalini yoga instructor. I’m a member of the German Association of 3HO where I currently teach courses and workshops. I speak English, Spanish, German and Greek.
For me, Kundalini yoga is a physical, mental and spiritual discipline. It is ideal for building strength, character and consciousness as it allows me to experience deeper levels of being and to harmonize body, mind and vital energy.
In 2007 I published the book “Kundalini Yoga” (Ed. Umschau), a full-color graphic edition of over 200 inspiring pages showing a series of postures, breathing techniques, mudras and mantras to cultivate our spiritual potential. The book has already been translated into English, German and Czech.

After a few years of meditation I had the good luck to step into a Jivamukti Yoga class, which, inevitably, I loved.
I became a certified Jivamukti teacher in 2003 (300hs) and received advanced certifications in 2007. Since then I have become involved in Jivamukti teacher trainings as a mentor and translator, and as a Sanskrit Teacher in India, Mexico and the USA.
I think it must be in my genes: I’m a healer. I use different techniques to alleviate suffering in people’s souls and bodies. I learned crystallotherapy and obsidian healing according to the methods of Ana Silvia Serrano.
Although I am based in Mexico City I travel often, giving healing sessions and workshops on yoga, Buddhism and healing, among other things. I can teach in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese.
My current role as director of Vision y Sentido (Adva yoga teacher training and Samaya consulting) fulfills my desire to be able to share these precious teachings everywhere I can.
